June Tour supporting Okkervil River starts TONIGHT!

Tom Scharpling holds their music video HOSTAGE - but you can help!!!


It's pretty safe to say that TITUS ANDRONICUS are easily one of the hardest working bands out there! They've toured tirelessly since the release of their epic second album, The Monitor (which came out in March 2010 via XL RECORDINGS).

A couple of weeks ago the band participated in the "Our Concert Could Be Your Life" 10 year anniversary live tribute to Michael Azerrad's seminal book about the American DIY underground music scene of the 1980's. In early May, Sound Opinions (http://www.soundopinions.org/) aired their fantastic segment on Titus during their last stop in Chicago, complete with an interview and live performances (they'll next hit Chicago in August as part of this year's Lollapalooza Festival).

Just when everything seemed to be looking up, Tom Scharpling had to throw everyone a curveball!

Last week, the band alerted us via their blog (http://titusandronicustheband.blogspot.com/2011/05/tom-scharpling-strikes-again.html) to the fact that Tom holds in his possession a never-before-seen version of "A More Perfect Union" which he will make available for everyone's viewing pleasure if, and only if, the clip for "No Future Part Three: Escape From No Future" gets to  100,000 views by the time the band return to NYC on June 7th amidst their current tour!

If the "No Future" video doesn't reach that goal, then not only will Tom Scharpling fail to unveil the "A More Perfect Union" video, but he will delete, that's right, DELETE, the existing one for "No Future" because Tom Scharpling is JUST THAT CRAZY!

DON'T LET THIS MADMAN DELETE THIS VIDEO ON JUNE 8TH!
