Customer Reviews
The spirit of the old, weird world meets the child in us all -

As soon as one hears "While You Were Sleeping," there is no question that the listener has stumbled upon something rare; sincere and haunting, and without any taste of self-indulgence, that first song breathes life into the imagination and an undeniable sense of empathy into the body.
The album creates its own world, entertaining a profound and removed yet playful relationship to whatever sort of life each song reaches from.
At once tragic and romantic, I think Ash Wednesday will take anyone who's willing on a journey.
