XL Set To Release Sigur Ros Deluxe CD/DVD Set 06 Sep 2007
XL Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a new Sigur Rós project.
The release will be spread across 2xCD, 2xDVD, and a limited edition deluxe 2xDVD packaged in a 100 page hard bound book. The double disc CD is called Hvarf / Heim and is comprised of new studio recordings of lost Sigur Rós songs and live acoustic field recordings from their Icelandic tour. The first disc of the DVD set, entitled Heima, is a travelogue of the band's native Iceland in the summer of 2006 while the second disc is a concert performance film.
Hvarf / Heim and Heima will be released November 6.
