CAMERA OBSCURA ANNOUNCE FALL TOUR 20 Aug 2009

Camera Obscura will be returning to the US for a late Fall tour in celebration of their critically acclaimed release My Maudlin Career. The album has been praised by critics worldwide, and the song "French Navy" has been declared one of the catchiest songs around. It's had over 400,000 listens on the band's myspace page, and was included in NPR's "Best Music Of 2009 So Far" top 30 reader's poll. The album itself was given a score of 8.3 by Pitchfork and inclusion in their "Best New Music" category. Prior to their US tour, they will be playing in the UK and Europe. In the new year, they will embark on their second tour of Australia and New Zealand! These guys work HARD! For the US tour, they will be supported by Papercuts.
