Voxtrot Is In The Studio 15 Dec 2006

According to that Voxtrot Kid, the band is officially finished setting up in the studio and are set to begin recording their first-ever full-length. With Victor Van Vugt at the helm (who helped sweeten up Mojave 3's poptacular Puzzles Like You), we expect great things. And, Ramesh also was kind enough to mark the occassion by posting a very stripped down version of Sway - if you compare this to the lush sound of the EP version, hopefully a hint of the great things to come.
Ratatat: What's A Great Album? 13 Dec 2006

This question was posed to the Ratatat duo and they came up with some ripe answers. (actually, we think Mike did most of the answering)
Thom Yorke: Grammy Nomination For Thom York 12 Dec 2006
It's not every day that the Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (or whomever is behind these things) gives an artist we've worked with the nod. So, we were completely and utterly and pleasantly surprised when our favorite little 9-song album by some dude who keeps on telling us about this-really-good-band-he's-recording-with-right-now was nominated for "Best Alternative Album". Now...we just have to figure out how to get all the voters who think Fergaliscious is a bubble gum to vote Eraser.
Peep our freshly preened eCard.
Oh, and we just unleashed some remixes at the spot for all things The Eraser.
Tapes 'n Tapes: Tapes On mtvU 07 07 Dec 2006

As our publicists devise novel ways to get Tapes on TRL (which may or may not include publicity, stunts, dudes, kissing, police barracades and Times Square), the brothers Tapes are once again getting the co-ed treatment across all things MTV and university. Check out the Tapes feature on mtvU. Among the features subjected on our mild-manner midwesterners - the "Backstage Pass" and "The Hot Seat". Co-eds, backstage passes, hot seats. Damn, we wish there was a joke buried in that somewhere.
