“Apartment Story” drops at midnight tonight

The National’s new video for "Apartment Story" drops tonight at midnight. Our buddies over at AOL music will be posting it on the main AOL music page, music.aol.com, for 24hrs and then it’ll jump over to www.spinner.com.
The video shot by LA-based director Banner Gwin, attempts to loosely recreate the Boxer album cover, which depicts a wedding or a social gathering of some sort with the band playing on stage. It might be appropriate that then that the video was shot in the baesment of a church in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. A church where, cooincidently, an episode of The Cosby’s was shot. I swear.
The crowd at the "wedding" is comprised of family and friends as well as a few Beggars Group staff. The guy at the beginning is Matt, the lead singer’s brother.
Oh, and the alcohol wasn’t real. Diet Coke and ginger ale…
