As if all the exclusive goodies we’re giving you weren’t enough, now you’ll have a chance to see two Beggars artists live and instore…cause, you know, rockers love record stores too!!!
Jersey-bred wunderkids Titus Andronicus will be tearing down the walls (sonically, of course) at their hometown record store Vintage Vinyl while, nearly 3,000 miles away, Anni Rossi will be playing a super intimate set at Streetlight in San Francisco. If you’re fast … or have one of those corporate jets we keep hearing so much about … you might just catch both. How daring are you, sir??

The volume of shows, events & parties that our bands are involved in down in Texas is a bit too overwhelming to get into here. But if you’re so inclined, YOU can get into it here (it’s mac-friendly so get it down to your iPhone).

We would, however, be remiss not to mention one very special showcase.

We have started to receive communiques from various members of staff as they hit the ground and we’ll be updating you the next few days with juicy tidbits, fest gossip, late-night twittering and the like.

First up, Mr. Todd Netter has checked in at the Convention Center to pick up his badge and low and behold, artwork from our very own Monkey is on the flip side of the SXSW swag bag. Bag being modeled by the lovely Anni Rossi was has a few gigs herself.

Last week, our very own Anni Rossi swung by the studios of KCMP, The Current, in Minneapolis/St. Paul and performed four songs off her new album, Rockwell. Check out this link to hear her live interpretations of “Machine”, “Venice”, “Ecology”, and “Wheelpusher.” Be on the lookout for Anni’s live shows at South By Southwest and a post-SXSW East Coast run, as well.
