Catch The xx live on World Cafe today at 2PM EST

Although London’s The xx haven’t been in the US since December, luckily we got the stellar trio into WXPN to record a World Cafe session at the end of last year. And, again, luckily that session is due to air today at 2PM EST. Tune in on 88.5 on regular old radio or online at XPN.org. It’s sure to be worth your while and will help to stave off your xx hunger until the band returns in March.

Hear Vampire Weekend perform live on Morning Becomes Eclectic today

To celebrate the release of their sophomore album, Contra, which hits shelves tomorrow, January 12, the lads of Vampire Weekend will perform today on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic. The session begins at 11:15AM PST/2:15PM EST, so listen accordingly online or terrestrially at 89.9FM in the sunny SoCal region. You can also catch the band live tonight on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. Release week is fun!
